On July 27, 2008 Fellowship Church joined with 8 other local churches in Paulding County to share God's love in a tangible way during a community makeover. The folks at Fellowship chose to "Don't Go to Church" but to "BE the Church" by serving at Nebo Elementary School and the homes of three widows. We did everything from cleaning to painting to trimming hedges to raking to repairs and installing phone lines, all as a way to live out our mission of loving God and loving people. All total there were over 2000 volunteers who worked at over 200 locations in three days. To top it all off, over 3500 people came together in a local shopping center parking lot for a community wide worship celebration. We hope you enjoy this video as much as we enjoyed serving.

Once in a lifetime events have a way of changing your life. While I don't fully understand the effects of my trip to the Holy Land I have certainly been changed in many ways.
Less is more. We're fond of saying that around here. And much of the time, we're more effective living by it. But sometimes MORE is more. Want a voluminous vocabulary? Read more. And just like you need to lift more if you want bigger biceps, you need to do some things more if you want to know God better, like:
