Our Core Values

Core values are the principles of central importance in your life.  Perhaps more than anything else, your core values define who you are and how you live life.   At Fellowship Church we are committed to G.R.E.A.T.-ness.

In all that we do, we will be:

God-honoring – God is the Creator of all things and human beings are created in God’s image.  Therefore, we desire to live our lives in a way that honors our Creator in all the things we do; a lifestyle characterized by gratitude for God’s mercy and grace that leads us to offer ourselves in joining God’s work in the world.

Relevant – God is active and relevant in the world; therefore we desire to be relevant and active in society without compromising our identity as followers of Christ.  Scripture teaches us that God is consistent and significant in life and that He desires to be in a deep and growing relationship with each of us.  Our relationship with God was never intended to be relegated to a "religious" compartment of life.  God is active and close in every aspect of our lives if we simply look for Him.

Excellence – God gave us His very best, His son Jesus Christ so that we could have real and eternal life in relationship with Him.  Because God first gave us His best, we desire to give our very best in every thing we do so that He will be honored.  We believe that excellence both honors God and inspires people to be their best.

Authentic – God tells us, “I AM WHO I AM” (Exodus 3.14), nothing more and nothing less.  God is unpretentious and authentic in His relationship with us.  We desire to be open, honest and real in our relationship with God and with one another, admitting that we are sometimes strong, and weak at other times.  Authenticity allows us to grow deeper in our relationship with God and fully support one another in life.

Transformative – God loves us enough to meet us right where we are in life to offer us grace, mercy and love, but He loves us too much to leave us there.  God has an amazing plan for each person's life and has made it possible for us to be better than we ever imagined.  Through a deep and growing relationship with Christ we will each be personally transformed to be the people that God intends for us to be.  By joining together with one another and with God, we will be the transformative force for our families, our society and our world.
